Terri Mansfield, Paradise Valley
Co-Founder & Executive Director
602-885-9058,
terri@azdopcampaign.org

Peace on Earth is my passion, and love for all is my mission. All of my life adventures as 1 of 4 children born at home in Cleveland to Alice and Paul, as a child growing up in Albuquerque, as a young college bride still married to my Mike who is a retired Air Force officer, as the mother of Steve and Shayna (and Kimberly now in spirit), as a laboratory medical technologist, as a spiritual cheerleader, as a Hospice volunteer, as a "lady who lifts litter off the landscape", as a Peace Pole pal, as a Madonna Minister, as a Reiki master, and as a DOP Campaign regional coordinator in Arizona...all of my life adventures continue to lead me to one truth: Love is all there is.

When I was 11, my 44 year old father died of cancer.  My intent then was to spend my life finding the cure for cancer. I am so passionate about the Department of Peace becuse it will also help find the cure for all that ails American society, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

The DOP will empower Americans through education to take responsibility for their choices, and to foster community awareness of the inherent goodness in each person.  Violence will become a distant memory, and war will become archaic. It is time.”

Hugs of peace...

My passion is joyfully assisting the shift of global consciousness from fear to faith, peace and joy by being a loving, powerful expression of peace, building bridges between people from all faiths, cultures, races, and political parties.

2006 has been a tremendous peace year for me. Terri Mansfield invited me to be Co-Director of AZDOP, the Affiliated New Thought Network asked me to represent them as their Peace Emissary, and the Arizona Interfaith Movement invited me to serve on their board.

Like Terri, my creative expression has found many forms: touring Europe as a Professional Ice Dancer, coaching skating, teaching educational classes for both children and adults, organizing events that bring diverse communities together, and serving the Governor's office of AZ for several months by assisting families affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Being actively involved with establishing a Department of Peace beautifully supports one of my core missions which is to assist people in awakening to deeper purpose, calling them to “dare2create” the world they desire by living in outrageous joy.  One of the numerous things I love about AZDOP is the opportunity to meet with a wide array of organizations and individuals, to connect and build relationships, and to share how each of us can incorporate peace as an organizing principle into everything we do.
